Key Features

From natural detail to a more deliberate next edit.

Four ways to work, illustrated with reference-site artwork and provider showcases. Review your own results against the brief.

Feature 01 · Natural lighting and materials

Give everyday surfaces a considered photographic finish.

Direct the way light moves through glass, catches metal and falls across fabric. Use GPT Image 2.5 to explore tactile product shots and quieter, more believable scenes.

  • Describe a specific light source and direction
  • Separate glass, fabric and stone in the brief
  • Inspect reflections and small details before use

Feature 02 · Reference-led creation

Keep the subject recognizable as the setting changes.

Bring a clear reference when a face, product silhouette or distinctive outfit matters. Ask for a new setting while naming the details you want to preserve.

  • Start with a sharp, unobstructed reference
  • Specify which identity and shape details to keep
  • Compare the result with your original image

Feature 03 · Targeted image editing

Make the next change a focused one.

Use image-to-image to request a particular wardrobe, background or color edit. Keep the instructions focused, then review the surrounding details before making another change.

  • Name the object or region you want to change
  • State what should stay the same
  • Iterate from a result you have already reviewed

Feature 04 · Detailed creative briefs

Bring the subject, layout and message together.

Describe a coordinated poster, package or campaign image in one brief. Give GPT Image 2.5 a clear visual hierarchy, palette and exact short text instead of a list of disconnected effects.

  • Put the main subject and headline first
  • Define layout, palette and material cues
  • Proofread all text in the finished image

The big one for me is editing. You can change a specific part of an image without ruining everything else.

Has anyone tested it yet? Better than GPT Image 2?

GPT Image 2.5 questions

What is GPT Image 2.5?+

GPT Image 2.5 is an image generation and editing model listed by Kie. Banana Pro offers the Flare and Sunburst variants through its image workflow. Start with text or add references to guide the result.

Who provides GPT Image 2.5, and how is Banana Pro related?+

Kie provides access to this third-party GPT Image 2.5 model. Banana Pro supplies the independent web workflow and does not develop or own the model. We have not independently verified the upstream developer attribution, and do not claim an official model-developer partnership.

Do I need a separate Kie, OpenAI or ChatGPT account?+

No separate provider login is required in this workflow. Sign in to Banana Pro and use your Banana Pro credits. The generator shows the charge before you submit.

Can I choose Flare or Sunburst?+

Yes. This page starts with GPT Image 2.5 Flare. Open the model selector to choose GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst. Both support text-to-image and image-to-image here; no guaranteed quality or speed ranking is implied.

How many credits does GPT Image 2.5 use?+

Both variants cost 6 credits per image at 1K, 10 at 2K and 16 at 4K. Text-to-image and image-to-image use the same rates. Multiple outputs multiply the per-image charge. Banana Pro package prices determine the money value of those credits.

Which sizes and references can I use?+

The image generator offers 1K, 2K and 4K, plus Auto and 12 explicit aspect ratios. The quick form on this page accepts up to 6 references; the full image generator supports up to 16. Use clear references and check your final size settings in the image workspace.

How do I get a more controlled edit?+

Upload an image you have permission to use. Describe the one object, material or background to change, and list the features that should stay the same. Review identity, fine geometry, lighting and any text before using the result.

Are the images and videos on this page Banana Pro test results?+

No. The product photograph is illustrative artwork, and the other showcases and demonstration videos are reused from the reference site’s Kie materials. Community posts show their authors’ experiences with the model, not measured Banana Pro results.
